• Acoustic Sonar
Our Low Frequency Active Towed Sonar (LFATS) VDS-100 uses low frequency acoustic sensors packaged in a compact, lightweight system payload to detect, localize and prosecute all types of submarines in both shallow water and open ocean environments. Our Helicopter Long Range Active Sonar (HELRAS) DS-100 has been demonstrated to be the highest-performance helicopter dipping sonar in the world, outperforming even ship-borne systems against diesel-electric submarines. Our ASW products are being networked and tailored for use with Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) as well as in bistatic and multistatic operations.

• Towed Arrays
L-3 Ocean Systems is a certified USN depot of towed arrays. We have built more US Navy Thinline Towed Array systems than any other company. Our towed array products are expanding to encompass littoral undersea warfare.

• Mine Warfare Products
Our aggressive research and engineering development programs are offering solutions to difficult and operationally important issues in undersea warfare. Our mine warfare products include side scanning sonar, hull mounted sonar and expendable mine destructors.
